Here are a couple of trading cards from the Sears Happy-Time Toy Town, circa 1951. Hope everybody out there has a safe and happy Christmas.
And if you haven’t done it already, think about dragging out your copy of Trail Of Robin Hood (1950). And remember, “ev’ry day is Christmas in the West!”
Merry Christmas, Toby!
Thanks, and a belated birthday to you, Colin!
Toby and members of this List:
My wish is that each of you and your families have a joyous, blessed, and merry Christmas…and a very good 2021. My wish is that the vaults of the old studios will continue to open…I would love to see excellent, remastered copies (Blu-Ray?) of movies with Bill Elliott, additional Joel McCrea editions, more commercially available Durango Kid, Rod Cameron, and others, in 2021.
And Toby, thank you for your labor of love!
Merry Christmas to all!
Boyd
It will be Christmas when they release a AC LYLES western boxset and DRAGOON WELLS MASSACRE on DVD or BLU RAY .Take note please Santa.
Graham, I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMSAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Best,
Walter
I agree. Let’s have an A. C. Lyles set of the Westerns he made in the 1960s…kind of the last stand of the classic old Western. And yes, “Dragoon Wells Massacre” with Barry Sullivan, Katy Jurado, Dennis O’Keefe…I have a decent copy, but a great Blu-ray needs to be issued.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too Walter..JB HI FI have a 30% off sale so I may buy the new Randolph Scott collection.
A Christmas greeting that put a smile on my face.
Merry Christmas!
I just bought THE RANDOLPH SCOTT COLLECTION .I bought it from JB HI FI for about half the price that Via Vision have it listed for. Some of their releases are a bit over priced .I watched THE TEXANS and CORVETTE K-225 .The latter is set on a naval boat and a bit of a change of pace for Scott.Watch for a young Robert Mitchum uncredited.
Those pictures have an incredible amount of charm.
