Newark, Ohio, was the place to be on June 8, 1952.
By this time, Desert Passage (1952) — the last of the Tim Holt/Richard Martin RKO pictures, had been in release for about a week.

Thanks for posting this. I live in Newark, Ohio and would have been 2 years old when this show occurred. I had never heard of Sunset Ranch and 3 miles south of Mt. Vernon, Ohio would have placed the location between Mt. Vernon and St. Louisville, Ohio. This ad probably came from the local newspaper, the Newark Advocate. Nearer to Newark on Route 40 was another complex called Frontier Ranch and I know some western stars like Rex Allen and Smiley Burnette appeared there. I’m going to do some research and see what more I can find out about both these locations.
I made a mistake on the above post. Sunset Ranch would have been between Mt. Vernon and Utica, Ohio.
