Actress Elaine Stewart has passed away at 81. You can find her obituary here.
Here she is with Jimmy Stewart and director James Neilson on the set of Night Passage (1957).

Elaine Stewart had some interesting credits including three films that are way overdue for a DVD release.
“The Tattered Dress” A little seen but highly regarded thriller from Jack Arnold
“The Rise & Fall Of Legs Diamond” What is this doing on the missing list?
“Most Dangerous Man Alive” Allan Dwans final film and a rare foray (for him) into sci-fi.
Elaine Stewart was also excellent in the Victor Mature Western “Escort West” produced by John Waynes production company. This one is available on DVD.
Your comment pointed out what fabulous directors she worked with: Arnold, Boetticher and Dwan. Wow. Then there’s Minnelli and Richard Brooks.
When I thinned out my laserdisc collection, I’m so glad I hung onto Legs Diamond. That seems like a perfect candidate for Warner Archive.
I wonder if there is a rights issue over Legs Diamond;I am sure it would have surfaced by now from the Archive. How about a “special edition” with the addition of the Boetticher directed “Maverick” episodes.
