You’ll find more on the series here. Thanks to Henry Cabot Beck for the tip.

I love the decision you made to have posted an image of Wilson beneath the header. Winchester ’73 (your last image) is my personal favorite (though not necessarily the best) playing at the Autry; followed by Once Upon a Time… I’m really glad to see Lonely Are the Brave in that line-up of theirs, too.
Let’s see how long it takes them to fix the name of LONELY ARE THE BRAVE’s director….
Thanks for pointing that out. I should’ve noticed that — he didn’t do any 50s Westerns, but he did Flying Tigers.
What a line-up! So many great ones here, and the finale being Unforgiven is a personal favorite. I’m definitely planning on making as many of these as I can (and bringing the family, if I can). Thanks for highlighting the series in a post, Toby.
SHANE is one of the films on a list I made of 10 classic films I’ve never seen that I’m hoping to finally catch up with this year. (Other titles include DOUBLE INDEMNITY and SUNSET BOULEVARD.) It would be neat to see it on the big screen for the first viewing! I’m going to keep it in mind. Glad to see the series mentioned here!
Best wishes,
Laura
