Fred Foy, the announcer on The Lone Ranger and so many other things, has passed away at 89.

I met Fred many, many times at the Friends of Old Time Radio Convention. He was warm, friendly and … sweet. Really, one of the good guys. We won’t see his like again and he’ll be missed!
